JOIN US ON A YOGA RETREAT
RETREATS are held at Montville, Byfield, Pumpkin Island and overseas in India, Italy and France. The overseas retreats are not held every year. This year is North India.
YOGA RETREATS are a wonderful way to take time out for yourself, or maybe with a friend or partner. You don’t have to be good at yoga, or even experienced in yoga, you can be a complete beginner. With a casual schedule of yoga classes, morning meditations, relaxations and nutritious contemporary vegetarian food; you will find a retreat rejuvenating, enriching and soulful. Massages are available at an extra cost and there is plenty of time to simply rest and relax at your leisure in the privacy of your tranquil surroundings. Rose keeps her retreat numbers small to maintain a close, intimate and nurturing environment.
PRIVATE RETREATS are also an option. You can organise your own group, choose your dates and location & Rose will come to you to teach yoga & prepare yummy healthy meals. This option is also available at her Montville location – whatever suits you.
MONTVILLE QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA Rose offers small intimate yoga retreats at her beautiful home in Montville. The daily schedule includes meditation, yoga practice, relaxation, as well as plenty of free time to simply relax by the pool or the fire, read a good book, enjoy a massage, go for walks or visit the Montville or Maleny Villages. The vegetarian meals are lovingly prepared by Rose who loves to cook nurturing nutritious organic live food. All Montville retreats start at 4pm Friday and finish 3pm Sunday. The all inclusive price for shared loft accommodation is $400, $450 for twin share room or for a private room $500. Massage is optional and available at an extra cost.

PUMPKIN ISLAND RETREAT AND WHALE WATCHING – The entire island to ourselves!
September 6th – 9th 2019
This Retreat is a real Treat! My fourth retreat on Pumpkin Island and I can’t wait to do it all over again!
This is a 3 day retreat – Starting at $950 – $1250 – depending on your choice of accommodation.
It is a very relaxing laid back ‘Island Affair’ going for 3 days and 3 nights. There is plenty of time to kick back and let yourself be suspended in bliss! I book the whole island so we have it all to ourselves! This is something very special! The daily schedule is an optional mix of early sunrise and sunset meditations overlooking the ocean, a daily morning yoga class by the ocean and an afternoon yoga nidra with the sounds of the waves singing to you. The meals are lovingly prepared by myself and my partner Steve. We prepare organic wholesome live food with lots of love. The island has plenty of water sports equipment for you to use, SUP boards, canoes, snorkelling gear, and they even take us on a private whale watching boat cruise! Yes! This is the whale watching season and last retreat some of us saw whales very close (for our first morning view) through the rustic cottage windows of our cabins and from the shoreline. Now where can you do that and enjoy your yoga at the same time.
An optional massage is available if you so desire – $75
You will depart Roslyn Bay Harbour on Friday morning at 9am for the Island transfer and depart Pumpkin Island at 12 noon on the Monday. Check out how beautiful Pumpkin Island is at www.pumpkinisland.com.au To see previous photos of retreats go to my photo gallery or to Facebook or Instagram.
INDIA YOGA TOUR – October 18th – November 9th 2019 – (22 days) This year I have decided to move further north and explore the Lower Himalayas. We will begin our tour in Delhi (o/n) with arrivals on the 18th. Delhi is simply an overnight stay before we fly to Amritsar (o/n) the next day where we will see the Sikh Golden Temple and overnight. We then drive to McLeod Ganj and Dharamsala where we will stay for 3 nights. The drive from Amritsar to the lower Himalayan area of Dharamsala through the beautiful Kangra Valley is spectacular with it’s winding river and high mountain peaks. Dharamsala is the home of the exiled Dalai Llama and the Tibetan refugees. On Day 6 we leave for the drive to Pathonkot to catch a train to Chandigarh (2 nights) which is a 50 year old planned city like Canberra and a contrast to the rest of chaotic India. From Chandigarh we travel by car to the hill station Shimla (2 nights) which was the summer capital of the British Raj. It is set overlooking spectacular hills with remnants of Raj buildings with old colonial charm. We depart Shimla on the UNESCO Heritage Toy Train to Solan where we will then drive through the mountains to our hotel in Rishikesh (3 nights) overlooking the Ganges River. Rishikesh is the Yoga Capital of the World and once home to the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi the creator of Transcendental Meditation and friend of the Beatles. We then transfer for a morning flight from Dehra Dun to New Delhi to connect with another flight to Varanasi (2 nights). Varanasi is India’s oldest and most sacred city set on the River Ganges. On Day 14 if you wish to end your tour here you can fly from Varanasi to New Delhi and fly home from there or if you want to continue on with the tour we will fly to Agra (2 nights), home of the seventh wonder of the world the iconic Taj Mahal. From Agra we will drive back to New Delhi (2 nights) to see the sights of Delhi. After Day 18 people once again have the option to fly home or continue on the South India. We would then fly to Chennai and transfer to the beachside town of Mamallapuram (2 nights) and relax at a slower pace. From here we would then drive through the pretty country side to the charming French Colonial coastal town of Pondicherry (2 nights). We will then fly out of Chennai home to Australia. Your commitment and deposits of $1000 will be required by April 1st and the balance by September 1st. Please contact me for further details if you are interested.
